In this world we live in on planet earth. As Christians, we find searching for God and his answers can be a challenge. Considering that we as christians want God's wills in our lives, well most of us. While searching for God in this sinful world. God's answers to things we ask in prayer can differ, depending whether it's his will or not.
God's answers can range from yes, no, and yes, but later.
I don't know what you have been asking God in prayer and the responses he's given you. Here are some questions to make you think:
Has God ever answered one of your prayer requests with a no? If so, what was it and what were the circumstances of it?
My response yes, he has answered a prayer request with a no. It was about my relationship with my boyfriend. God told me to break it, he told me your boyfriend is more important than me. If you love me so much put me in first place and wait for someone better okay? I broke up with him and I felt weird for a while, but now I feel free and better.
Has God ever answered one of your prayer requests with a yes, but later? What was it and what were the circumstances of it?
Yes, God has answered one of my prayer requests with a yes, but later. It was about the internship in my church. He told me it will come, but not right now. You aren't focused enough on me and your heart isn't focused on me either. The outcome after I broke up with my boyfriend God put me in the internship at my church. The one I have been going to for the past 3 1/2 years.
Has God ever answered one of your prayer requests with a yes? What was it and what were the circumstances of it?
My response, yes God has answered one of my prayers with a yes. He told me that there will be a miracle happening, and it will be something unexpected. I think the miracle has happened, but I am not quite sure yet. I have seen many miracles in my life, a medical condition that isn't affecting me anymore, free from drugs, and changes in relationships that I couldn't imagine.
Desribe how you felt after you knew each of God's answers?
Well, at first I was shocked. Asking God why he wanted me to change somethings in my life that I thought were okay. He decided to take control and change my life and do a 180. He changed my thoughts, relationships, and desires. I realize he has wanted me to do his will in my life. At first to tell you the truth, it wasn't easy, trying anything you haven't tried before isn't easy. God told me it was time for a change in me. Now realizing his answers to my prayers, I wouldn't have wanted to stay the same anyway.
Why do you think God answers no or later at times?
He's making us wait for something better than what we have planned for in our lives.
Why doesn't God always answer our prayers with a yes?
I feel he knows better than us and everything we ask for in prayer isn't always needed in our lives. The only thing we really need in our lives is to live for Jesus because he gave his on the cross.
