In the world there are so many things we're intimate with. For the most of us, we are intimate with our partners or spouses. That's good to be intimate with them, but first try to be intimate with Jesus. First off, he created us in his image and he created this world. He created you, me, and our partners that we love and are intimate with.
Psalm 139:13-14: For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
He knew what you were going to look like before your parents knew because he made you in your mother's womb. We need to praise him and give him intimacy because he made us in his works. He is the sower and we are the clay.
People in this world rather be more intimate with their partners than Jesus. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of our faith ( Hebrews 12:2). If we're aren't intimate with Jesus and love him, how can we be intimate with our partners. We need to love Jesus and love others because if we don't love Jesus and others first how can we be intimate with others.
We need to love others no matter whether if they hate us or love us. We can't hinder the hurt inside we get from people rather repent it. Ask God to help you be more loving towards people.
John 15: 9-17 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I
no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his
master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything
that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.
You need to love one another like Jesus has loved you since the beginning. You need to lay your life down and love that person even if you don't want to or you feel it's a burden to you. If it's such a big burden to love someone because you hate them. Maybe talk it out with God and have him change your heart because seriously the greatest gift of life is the "three that remain faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13)
