Our Daily Bread.

It's important to the read the bible everyday so you can become closer with Jesus. Also, it helps your spiritual growth in your faith with Jesus. Each day you read the bible you become more wise and more into the fact that life isn't about you it's about Jesus. How he created the earth, moon, and stars and us humans on earth. He longs for us to have a relationship with him so he can make us better people believe it or not. There are so many distractions nowadays where it blinds our eyes and hearts from the real feel of direction and love. Jesus is the truth the way and the life for us people on this earth. Why don't we put our precious time in other things like spending time with Jesus and church and helping others. Not in things that destroy us like drugs, alcohol, and hanging out with bad crowds.

Luke 11: 1-4 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say:“‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.

Jesus the Bread of Life :

John 6: 25 When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, "Rabbi, when did you get here?" 26 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, you are looking for me, not because you saw miraculous signs but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval." 28 Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" 29 Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." 30 So they asked him, "What miraculous sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our forefathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written: 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.' " 32 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." 34 "Sir," they said, "from now on give us this bread." 35 Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." 41 At this the Jews began to grumble about him because he said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven." 42 They said, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, 'I came down from heaven'?" 43 "Stop grumbling among yourselves," Jesus answered. 44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me. 46 No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. 47 I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died. 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." 52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" 53 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever." 59 He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

Asking for things.

When you ask for things you need to ask with right motives and not your own. He is God and he knows what you want and needs are and he wants to give you what you ask, but it needs to be in his name first.

John 16:23-24 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Matthew 7:7-12 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

James 4: 1- 3 : What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

We as people should get in fights over selfishly desires instead fight for what really matters like what Jesus would cherish.

Jesus :3

People who know me probably sometimes wonder, how could I have dealt with all that I have gone through. Well, actually what I am still going through. All I can really tell them is that Jesus has transformed me and shaped me how he wants me to be and I am very blessed for that.

Jesus conitues to shape me every day in many different ways. In different ways which are good ones to have in your life. Not many people think Jesus is real or maybe the fact is they know he's there but they don't want the change. They don't want the change simply because they feel their life is going so good and so they don't need him. In reality everyone needs Jesus, but so many people are afraid to be changed.

When I first became really intimate with Jesus everything else in the world never really mattered to me. Still today it doesn't really matter to me because Jesus is my everything and the world has nothing on me now.

Matthew 24:35 : Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

My thought today

I feel God is going to change my season that I am in. I have to be ready for it and not ask why and trust him in everything I do. Don't too comfortable where I am at because he is God. He moves us and shakes things up. #HeIsGod #takeaway #give

Our cities.

Interesting concept that I ran over in Deuteronomy 28 tonight reading my bible. We were talking about our cities today at church, and I ran over that same thing, tonight and Deuteronomy 28 wasn't in the preaching today. #Godstalkingtome #aboutsomething

28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. 11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.

#Diosestahablandoconmigo #sobrealgo

Marked

In life we all get marked by things that happen to us. Some of those things can be physically, spiritually, emotionally, or mentally. This world that we live in is marked mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually dead. Yes, there are things in this life that mark us some bigger than others.

Markings that Jesus gives vs. the world.

Physically:

Jesus: He gives us the sufficient amount of strength to carry on. When we feel that we can't go anything further. He gives us

The World: The world will beat you down and hurt you physically. More than you ever know.

Spiritually:

Jesus: Being marked by Jesus spiritually is the greatest thing ever. Your spirit will be renewed it won't dead, it will be alive and free.

The World: The world is spiritually dead and some people are spiritually dead.

Mentally:

Jesus: Jesus is the most secure place to put your mind.

World: The World will drag you down and make you feel worthless.

Emotionally:

Jesus: He will lift you up even when you feel worthless.

World: The World will drag you down and make you feel worthless.

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Isaiah 43:13 "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."

One thing in me that has marked me is the fact that Jesus has touched me. Once you get marked by Jesus you won't be the same.

The Lamp of the Body

 Luke 11:33-36

“No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.  Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you.”

We as human beings need to remember that our eyes are the first thing to notice things. You may think our hearts are first, but really our eyes are. When we see negative, it triggers negative thoughts and our thoughts and actions become dark. When we think positive our thoughts and actions become positive. Us a christian sometimes lack the fact that we need to be the light for the people who are in this dark world. We need to be more open with the light that we live in, even if we are afraid of what people may think. Romans 8:31 "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
